Dual Post
OOC: This post is backdated to take place during the media lockdown and the journal section is filtered so only people on the network can see it. This is basically the last open post I'm gonna make with Alex before I tie up all of her plot threads and she leaves the story for a while, so if you have any stuff left you wanna do with her before that, let me know. If you have any event threads you'd like to do with her in this post, lemme know where she needs to be.
---
Journal:
They're telling me if I cooperate with them on the stuff that happened with the Barians, I'll get a pass for the stuff I did as a Number Hunter. They're sayin' they'll give me a ticket back to America too.
...the robots aren't chasing me around anymore. My accounts got unfrozen, but they took my passport, so I can't just bolt. Guess they only want me to get the hell outta here after I answer their questions.
...
...guess that's that then, huh.
---
Event:
[Alex is on the island that was a part of the Barian World. She's observing the various fallen weapons that are strewn about, occasionally lightly putting a hand on one or picking it up for a couple minutes. She seems to be lost in thought.
She can also be elsewhere, if need be.]

::The other Number Hunter walks towards you from behind, into the Sanctum which has been growing grass since it arrived.::
So, I've been told you plan on vanishing soon.

[She bends her legs, looking at the weapons and the new foliage.
I haven't decided yet.

::Beat.::
That was a joke.

[Beat.]
Wow.
I believe you.

[Event]
... for now though, she walks up to Alex.*
... It's overwhelming, isn't it.
Re: [Event]
[Answer's probably yes, no matter what.]
Re: [Event]
*she seems to give a sigh, rubbing her arm. ... she's still wearing the armor. She's not going to let go of that just yet.*
Re: [Event]
Your and Tachyon's existence...it's finally stable? For real?
Re: [Event]
... But there's still going to be some... time, before I'm fully stable. Though Tachyon might be in a better state, since they became Numeron Dragon. *she shakes her head, like she still can't believe that.*
The ambient energy that's left should be enough, at least. But Tachyon can support me as well, if it comes to it.

[Journal]
... But I guess you might be going back home, potentially? I suppose that's... good? Is it supposed to be? I'm not very sure at the moment.
Re: [Journal]
I haven't decided yet.
Re: [Journal]
... Maybe I'm thinking too deeply on it. Though I can't help but wonder what the alternative is, if you decide to not cooperate on that.
Re: [Journal]
I dunno. They'll probably start trying to arrest me again if I don't cooperate.
Re: [Journal]
I wouldn't like it if they started trying to arrest you, again. But at the same time...
... Yes, I can see why you haven't made a choice yet.

[Event]
You know...
[He's walking up behind you, giving the strewn-about weapons a wide berth, wearing a suit and tie, his hair still messy, but done up in such a way to seem professional.]
I see this place, and I still don't believe we've accomplished this. I know we have, but... it's beyond even what I would have expected at the Academy.
Re: [Event]
[When she speaks, she tries to keep her tone even.]
...Yuma, Koyo, Kai and the Barians did something pretty amazing.
Re: [Event]
[He moves closer, nothing in the way he's walking or talking seems to be angry towards you, Alex.]
...In fact. I wanted to apologize. For... exactly that.
Re: [Event]
It's a free country.
Re: [Event]
No, look... listen.
I said a lot of shit. A lot of shit. Like... look. I called you a 'glory hound'. And I meant it.
...But you proved me hilariously, embarrassingly wrong. Hell, you did more than I did, at the end, here.
So... I'm sorry. I'm sorry I thought you were the kind of person who would...do that kind of shit. It's obvious you cared enough to have wanted to save the Barians, and I just made myself look likeean asshole because I had gotten too stressed out for my own good.

[Event.]
[There's a voice. There wasn't any footsteps or anything.]
What are you gonna do?
Re: [Event.]
I dunno.
It's nice to see you again.
Re: [Event.]
[She sighs.]
Well, what do you think you should do?
Re: [Event.]
It'll be...pretty much back to normal.
Re: [Event.]
Like, a lot.
