[She takes a step forward, than holds up her hands to show she means no ill intent.]

Look. Yuma. I...I really don't like talking about this, but...

...when I was a Dark Signer, I was dead. Like, medically dead. I was only able to move my body because of dark magic, my heart wasn't actually pumping out anything, I didn't even have a pulse.

[She holds her arm out.]

Just. If you don't believe me, then feel it.

*Yuma looks up at her quietly, then slowly, he reaches out in order to feel for a pulse in her arm.*

[When he reaches for her arm, she grabs his arm, pulls him forward and delivers a hard kick to his stomach.

Then, she spins him around and locks her arm around his neck, placing her other arm against the side of his head, forcing him into a headlock.]

Go to sleep, Yuma.

Just go to sleep.

Urk...!

*Yuma gags badly when she kicks him hard in the stomach and throws him off enough that she's able to get him into a tight headlock.
At first, Yuma struggles against her, trying to get out of it, but no matter what he tried it was no use. Gradually, his struggling became weaker as he began losing the fight to stay conscious.*

A-Alex... why...?

*Those were the only words he manages to say before he completely passes out.*

[She gently puts Yuma down on his back.

She wordlessly takes the card out of his hand.]

*When you look at the card, you find that it is not Number 66 like he was leading you to believe. In fact, it's not even a real duel monster card. The other side of the card is blank with only a doodle of what appears to be a hippo on it, that suspiciously looks like one of Yuya's hippos.*

[She pulls off her sunglasses, revealing her blackened eyes. She tosses them and stares at the card for a moment.]

Are you fucking kidding me.

[After a moment, she looks back at the unconscious Yuma.]

...

You--!

[She grabs Yuma and jerks him back up. She pulls a fist back up and tightens it. After a second, she throws the fist...

...and cracks the stone ground next to him. She shakes her fist a couple times and then shakes her head.]

Dammit.

[She drops Yuma and gets back up, walking away.]

*MEANWHILE Yuya is stood on top of the Duel Academy roof, looking out towards the ocean in the distance. He then looks down at a card he's holding in his right hand, 'Number 66: Master Key Beetle', and sighs.*

I hope Yuma is okay.

*Right now, he just needed to make sure to keep the key to the airship away from Alex and he figured the rooftop was a safe enough hiding place.*
